Active Autowerke Blow Off Valve - BMW E92 335i 07+

By installing a larger Blow Off Valve with a larger venturi, these components will help correct any excess pressure being built against the turbo impeller blades that can eventually stop the turbo from spinning. This is called Compressor Surge and when eliminated, the turbo will spool faster, be more efficient and durable over time. All the hardware and fittings are designed to fit and function flawlessly even under high boost conditions. It has been tested and proven not to stall under any conditions. The only giveaway is that robust sound of the BOV when it vents to the outside atmosphere. BMW owners can now enjoy the benefits of increased flow and more efficient air to help dramatically lower intake air temperatures to increase power. By using a massive 6” thick W.A.V.E. Technology core, the Spearco front mount intercooler dropped charge air temperatures on average of 125 degrees on the twin turbo vehicle. In addition to lower intake air temperatures, the pressure of air exiting the intercooler compared to the pressure entering the unit was only an amazing 0.20 psi drop. The stock unit has over one pound of pressure loss/drop due to the factory unit’s lack of efficiency and limited size. When the stock unit is upgraded to the Spearco you will have less heat and more power due to the ability to quickly and efficiently move the pressurized air through the intercooler assembly. Once the initial investment is made, the result is a lifetime of free power and improved fuel economy. The intercooler reduces charge air temperature entering the engine, increasing the air density for increased power and torque, while reducing the overall thermal load on the engine and cooling system as exhaust temperatures are reduced at the same time. This results in less transfer of heat to the cooling system, and engine compartment and assists in maintaining normal temperatures on long hard power pulls. Since the intercooler is mounted in the factory location there is no need to worry about making any modifications to the vehicle.
